I would have posted this blog yesterday but I didn't have any power or Internet connection due to Hurricane Sandy. Anyway, every Halloween Nyack High School students paint the outsides of store windows on Main St. and Broadway in Nyack. Many of them have the focus of art history. I thought that this year's window paintings were excellent.
I have an interest in naive art and student work. Like many others who connect to this type of painting I find it a refreshing change from the overly cerebral, educated, and conceptual. Enjoy these educational gory images!
